Tiger and Leopard Cavalry

Tiger and Leopard Cavalry was an elite mounted unit in Cao Cao's forces led by Cao Chun. Its recruitment process was highly selective – only soldiers who had at least 100 men under them were eligible. Even Cao Cao himself found it difficult to lead such a unit, which was why he chose Cao Chun, who was able to gain the trust and respect of those elite soldiers.

They are outfitted with partial iron armour and the finest qiang spears and shields, enabling them to close the distance on, and neutralise, long-range enemies. As befitting their elite status, these cavalry are highly disciplined, and will continue to fight on when others have admitted defeat.
