Romance of the Three Kingdoms Xu Huang

Xu Huang was a prominent Chinese military general who served under the warlord Cao Cao during the late Eastern Han dynasty and later under the state of Cao Wei during the Three Kingdoms period. 

He is best remembered for his decisive role in the Battle of Fancheng in 219, where he successfully broke the siege and routed the renowned commander Guan Yu, a feat that earned him great acclaim. Known for his humility and honesty, Xu Huang treated his troops with fairness and was respected for his old-fashioned geniality and leadership. Throughout his career, he participated in numerous campaigns, but his exceptional performance at Fan Castle cemented his place as one of Cao Cao's most trusted generals.
