Romance of the Three Kingdoms Guo Jia

Guo Jia is a notable adviser and strategist in the 14th-century Chinese classic Romance of the Three Kingdoms. Though a relatively minor character in the novel, he played a pivotal role in aiding the warlord Cao Cao during his 11 years of service. Renowned for his brilliance and keen foresight, Guo Jia's strategies were crucial to Cao Cao's victories over prominent rivals such as Lü Bu and Yuan Shao.

One of his most famous contributions came four years before the Battle of Guandu, where Cao Cao decisively defeated Yuan Shao. At that time, Guo Jia had already foreseen Cao Cao's eventual victory, identifying ten distinct advantages Cao Cao held over Yuan Shao. His insights and strategic acumen solidified his legacy as one of Cao Cao's most trusted advisers.
