Gundam MS-07B Gouf

The MS-07B Gouf is a ground-based, close-quarters combat mobile suit developed by Zeon during the One Year War. Designed specifically for Earth-based operations, the Gouf boasts significantly enhanced mobility compared to its predecessor, the Zaku II, thanks to its powerful backpack and leg-mounted thrusters, enabling jet-assisted jumps. Its design draws heavily from the YMS-08A High Mobility Test Type, making it a formidable force on the battlefield.

The Gouf gained fame under Lieutenant Ramba Ral, who piloted the YMS-07B prototype, wreaking havoc on the Pegasus-class White Base and challenging the young pilot of the RX-78-2 Gundam. As the Zaku II began to show its age, the Gouf became a key component in advancing Zeon's ground campaigns across the globe, cementing its reputation as a symbol of Zeon's elite ground forces.
