Star Wars Darth Maul

Darth Maul, a Zabrak from Dathomir, is a powerful Sith Lord and a formidable force wielder deeply connected to the dark side. Trained by Darth Sidious, Maul becomes a master of lightsaber combat, known for his deadly skill and agility. He plays a pivotal role in the Battle of Naboo, where he mortally wounds Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn but is ultimately defeated and bisected by Qui-Gon's Padawan, Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Despite his injuries, Maul survives through sheer will and hatred, though the ordeal leaves him physically and mentally shattered. Over a decade later, his brother, Savage Opress, discovers him during the Clone Wars. With the help of Nightsister Mother Talzin's magick and cybernetics, Maul's mind and body are restored.
