Water Margin Li Jun

Li Jun, known as the "River Dragon," is a prominent character in Water Margin, one of the Four Great Classical Novels of Chinese literature. Ranked 26th among the 36 Heavenly Spirits of the 108 heroes of Liangshan, Li Jun is celebrated for his courage, martial prowess, and strategic acumen.

In the Tian Hu campaign, he proposed the use of water to flood Taiyuan, showcasing his tactical brilliance. During the Fang La campaign, he fearlessly swam into a lake to capture enemy ships, later infiltrating Suzhou to act as a spy, enabling the Liangshan forces to take the city with ease. Li Jun continued to use his cunning when he entered Qingxi Prefecture, feigning surrender to Fang La and working covertly to facilitate Liangshan’s capture of the city, making significant contributions to the Liangshan cause.
