Saber Alter, the darkened incarnation of Artoria Pendragon, is a fierce warrior and a Saber-class Servant in Fate/Grand Order. This version of Artoria emerged after being consumed and corrupted by the dark mud of the Shadow, transforming her into a cold and ruthless figure who sheds the warmth and idealism of her former self.

Though Saber Alter’s personality has shifted drastically—adopting an unyielding and stoic demeanor—she remains more of a dark hero than a true villain. Her core values and sense of honor endure beneath the darkness, and while her methods and outlook are now severe and unforgiving, they reflect a twisted dedication to her ideals rather than the abandonment of them.
