Baldwin IV King of Jerusalem

Baldwin IV, also known as Baldwin the Leper, was King of Jerusalem from 1174 to 1185. Despite suffering from leprosy, he was a remarkably resilient and capable ruler who played a crucial role during the Crusades. Baldwin IV is celebrated for his military leadership, particularly his victory at the Battle of Montgisard in 1177, which staved off Saladin's forces and defended the Crusader Kingdom of Jerusalem from imminent defeat.
